St Thomas More's Catholic Primary School and Nursery

Ensuring Success. Providing Opportunity. Fostering Stewardship.

This week's Gospel reading tells us that we must not judge others but rather reflect on what is in our own hearts that we need to change (Luke 6:-39-45)

PTA

The PTA (Parent / Teachers & Staff Association)

The PTA are organisers of fund raising and social events. There are quizzes, discos, cake sales, a sponsored walk and a summer fete etc.

The hope is that all events are enjoyable. If you want to be actively involved then you can be part of the organising committee, or you may want to just come along to meetings and offer ideas or help out with just one event each year. However much or little you can do is always appreciated!

The money that is raised each year goes towards a special project. The PTA has been able to purchase a new mini bus, playground equipment, lighting and performance equipment as well as many other items. We are currently raising money to develop our outdoor area at the back of the school. Plans for this can be seen on the PTA notice board in the playground.

If you can offer help or have any suggestions, just use either of the forms below and we'll get back to you. We look forward to hearing from you!

If you'd be able to help JUST ONCE for 20 minutes...

Any help, no matter if it's only as a one-off and for only a short time, we'd greatly appreciate it. We understand that life can be very hectic and the thought of signing yourself up to a commitment helping out the PTA is pretty daunting! However, there's no need for a huge commitment - many hands make light work, so if you able to help for a particular event for a set time, that's great! You're in control! Just message us with what you can do and we'll get right back to you! THANK YOU! (Obviously, if you can offer more, we won't be turning you away...!)

Bright ideas!

We're always open to new ideas, so if you have a particular passion or know of someone who could help us, or perhaps you've just got the start of an idea which we could build on, let us know!
