Home learning week 22nd February

Dear all our amazing children and parents....

Welcome back to all of you- we hope that you all had a good half term.

We know that it was quite limiting as to what you were able to get up to but we hope that you all managed to find some time to rest and do some activities that you enjoy. We'd love to see and hear about anything that you got up to over half term. Maybe you went on a walk and took some photos of the animals or scenery that you found? Maybe you have done some home baking, junk modelling or craft? Maybe you did some gardening (in between the rain)? Whatever you did, we hope that you enjoyed it and if you'd like to send us a message on ClassDojo to tell us about it then we'd love that!

We are also feeling so hopeful and praying that this is the half term we are all reunited but untill we are you know we are all here for you!!!! We are missing you all so much and can not wait to see you all...one time we get the blessing to do this is the weekly zooms so remember to join. (Aquila on Thursdays at 3pm, Orion on Fridays at 3pm and Lyra on Fridays at 4pm)

Everything you need this week is below any questions you know where we are- now and always. :))

Last Tuesday- Shrove Tuesday (Pancake day) marked the start to Lent- look out this week for a worship from Fr Gerrard to help us reflect and pray at this special time,

As Lent begins I just want to leave the image below from Pope Francis.
Take a minute to pause and think about this and how many you could take note of.

This Lent I am really going to be mindful of all of the above as well as giving up mummy juice (wine) and naughty food treats.

Three words/themes that stick out to me in this Lenten message is kindness, appreciation and patience.

What are you going to do this Lent?

God is good xxx

God bless

Stay safe- stay positive- Stay You

Love Mrs T and team x
