Week beginning 1 June

Welcome back from half term! I'm sure it was a very different half term than usual but hopefully you managed to take some time to rest, relax and enjoy being together as a family.

As we head into Summer 2, it is strange to think that so many of you are still at home, keeping safe, with your families. We are all missing seeing you so much and are pleased to have our Class Dojo area to keep in touch with you all. Please keep sharing the things that you have been up to, at home, on there. We love seeing what you have been up to.

With a larger number of Year 3 and 4 key worker children needing to return to school, some of the home learning has changed slightly. We have decided to keep the themes the same for those children in school and those of you learning at home. This should help to make sure that everyone is having the opportunity to access similar learning. The Year 3 and 4 children, in school, will be starting a new class novel, The Ickabog by JK Rowling. She will be releasing a chapter or 2 a day until 10th July. We would love it if those of you learning at home would read along too. More details on this can be found below with the English home learning.

Please do remember that the learning below is there to support you if you wish to use it and if it is helpful to you in your family situation. We know that everyone is in a different situation and what works for one family will not work for another. The most important thing right now is to be kind, take care and stay safe.
