A BIG thank you to all of you for making your fantastic video this week! It was amazing and seeing all your smiling faces and lovely messages brought so much joy to the whole school. Well done to all of you and especially to the Quinn family for putting it all together. I am sure you have all enjoyed watching it as many times as I have!
Sharing all the fantastic home learning you have been doing on Tapestry also brings great joy to all of the Reception Team, so please do keep adding what you have been learning at home. Equally, please do feel free to ask questions or for any support, as needed, through Tapestry too.
Next week, we will be continuing with the Minibeasts topic. You will find some useful resources to support learning of life cycles and doubling below. There is also a link for The Hungry Caterpillar story. There are many additional resources to support this topic on Twinkl which you may find useful.
In Phonics, we will be recapping on another 3 digraphs (2 letters make 1 sound): ng, ai & ee. It would be helpful to remind your child of the Jolly Phonics song for these digraphs (link on main Year R page) and then help them to read and then write words containing these sounds. They could then use these words, along with their key words and other phonics knowledge to write some sentences. Phonics Play and Twinkl have many resources which can also help learn these sounds.
Hope you all have a great week. Keep safe and keep smiling!
