Week 3- Monday 6th April 2020
Today would be the start of the Easter holidays and we’ve got some ideas to keep you entertained if you are in need of some inspiration!
Mr Sendall has uploaded lots of fantastic ideas which can be found when you click on the children balloon- class pages- fun activities for the holidays. There are some great family games and special challenges with answers being released at a later date!
Below is a challenge from Mrs Hennessy to create your own Easter Prayer Garden. It would be lovely to see some pictures of your creations on the school Facebook page.
If you are choosing to carry on home learning over the holidays to maintain routine, then there are lots of activities which have been set as 2do’s on Purple Mash. If you log in and select the 2do icon at the top of the page a list of activities will appear including; a spelling quiz, a science animals challenge, targeted maths games, a Titanic related activity and more. It would be great if you could continue reading over the break and hopefully you will all be getting bug club logins soon. It will be exciting to read with you all when you return to school and see the progress you have made and hear about the books you’ve enjoyed reading.
Hopefully you received the school bulletin last week that announced we were going to be using Class Dojo as a way to communicate with the children and share learning. We are excited about getting this up and running and cannot wait to hear about what everyone has been doing.
Have a lovely Easter break everyone! Enjoy spending time with one another and well done if you have managed to keep your Lenten promises, not long left now!
