At last!!! The end of this period of home learning is finally in sight!
Everyone at school is so excited to be welcoming everyone back on the 8th March and we hope that this week will fly by. Information regarding the return for all will be sent out shortly to all families but in the meantime if parents or children have any burning questions please get in touch so that we can answer them and help everybody to feel prepared for the return. Likewise, if you or your child have any worries please let us know.
I have spent a bit of time this week reflecting with the KS1 team on many of the successes that we have seen over the course of the last 7 weeks with our home learners in particular. We have seen some fantastic teaching and support going on at home, real dedication from our children, clear improvements and progress in ability, as well as growth in maturity and confidence. We are so looking forward to seeing this in reality and not on the end of a Zoom call or a Dojo or email upload - but THANK YOU mums, dads, grannies, grandads, aunties, uncles, brothers, sisters, childminders and tutors (and anyone else I have missed!) ....you have done a brilliant job!!!
For this last week of home learning we have planned three 'normal' curriculum days (Mon to Weds) and then Thursday is World Book Day so we have a fun day of book related activities planned, and then on Friday we are having a day when we will be preparing for the day we all return and have a chance to reflect on what and who we have missed, what we are looking forward to, share any worries or questions.
See you all VERY SOON!!!!
