St Thomas More's Catholic Primary School and Nursery

Ensuring Success. Providing Opportunity. Fostering Stewardship.

Week beginning Mon 8 February 2021

Well here we are - on the 6th week of remote learning!  Hopefully after a well deserved half term break, it won't be too long before we can see more of you in school and not on the other side of a Zoom screen or a Dojo portfolio or message (as lovely as this is!).  On a positive note, the staff are honestly amazed at the resilience and resourcefulness shown by many of our families -  Parents, you really have done your children and yourselves proud, even if you have doubted this on the odd occasion ....and children, well we are just super proud of you all!

We hope that you will all be able to enjoy the half term break safely and will be able to recharge your batteries and take some well deserved rest and relaxation together.

We are busy planning our new topic for when we return and have made changes to this in light of at least the first 2 weeks being in the same situation as we are now, but we will let you know more when we start Spring term 2.

Have a great week home learners' and please remember we love hearing from you!  All of the staff and children at school are really missing the children at home and have LOVED seeing them on their weekly Zoom meetings on a Friday, so if your child can join us for the last one of this half term, please look out for the link this week as we would love to see you all!
