How can we be heading into week 4 of home learning already?
'Time flies when you're having fun' is what they say ....... it may feel more like 'time flies when you have so much to do' at the moment for many of us, but the KS1 staff want to say a HUGE THANK YOU and WELL DONE to all our children and families working at home on the home learning that we have provided. We really do know that it is not easy for many of you, but we are extremely proud of each and everyone of you doing your best. Parents, please remember do not compare yourself with others as difficult as they might be - you have to do what is best for your family's situation. Also keep talking to us all via Class Dojo or email and let us know if you need help, advice or have something lovely to share - it really is a great way of trying to keep our school community together as best we can.
We hoped those of you that were able to join our Class Zoom meetings on Friday, enjoyed this opportunity. I popped into each KS1 class' meeting and it really was warming and very special for the children and staff to see each other on screen. A huge well done to the children at home too for being so brave to speak and share some fantastic things on screen too.
As you are probably aware, KS1 is blessed with a number of part time teachers who have different working days and therefore other family commitments, so from this week each member of staff will be uploading resources to this page over the next few days, as and when they are complete. This process should be completed for most subjects by the evening of Sunday 24th January. We felt it best to mention this here in case you have visited the page and thought that things were missing!
We will continue to use Class Dojo class story on a daily basis to post links to new or updated resources and videos as the week progresses.
Thank you children and adults for your ongoing support - you ARE doing a great job!
