Our Easter Scavenger Hunt will take place over the Easter holidays. Using a check point map, purchased for just £1 from the school office, follow the clues and find the decorated eggs with letter clues in the windows of houses near our school.
Find them all, work out the coded message and enter our prize draw to win one of our chocolate egg prizes.
Winners will be randomly chosen back at school after the easter holiday.
Happy hunting!
Our PTA are being relaunched as 'Friends of St Thomas More's' - Parents, Relatives, Teachers and Staff all working together to fundraise for our school and community.
* You don't have to attend any meetings
* You only need to help, when you're able to
* You don't have to sign a contract
* 100% voluntary on your part, so no pressure
We would love for parents and staff to sign up as an 'occasional helper'. This means when events are in the planning stages, we would like to make contact to determine helper availability.
We are re-launching with two exciting competitions...
Design a logo competition - Friends of St Thomas More’s need your help… We’ve got a name, we have a school that needs our fundraising, we’re going to have the best team of parents and staff working together, but we don’t have a logo!
Enter our “design a logo” competition and you could have your design used at all our events on all our signs. Entrance forms and details will be available from school over the next couple of weeks.
Scarecrow Scavenger Hunt - visit the 'Friends' page to find out more!
Come along to our Open Day on Thursday 19th October to see the school in action.
Tours will be available between 9:30 & 11am

On Friday 3rd March, we launched a class fundraising ‘FEET’, where each class was given a wellington boot to fill with donations for the CAFOD Lent campaign.
Each Wednesday in Liturgical Singing, the children will bring in the welly from their class and see which class is showing our Lenten theme of almsgiving. Therefore, you may find children asking for loose change during our Lenten period.
In addition, if would you prefer to make a contribution online, the link for our school CAFOD fundraising page can be found on the school website in the latest news section or on the school’s Facebook page, Class Dojo or you can use the link below to make any donations.
Let us all work together this Lent to stamp out hunger one step at a time. As always, we appreciate your support throughout our journey through Lent.
During the season of Lent, families are invited to join us as we pray Stations of the Cross in our beautiful Chapel at the start of next half term. The way of the cross is a devotional service commemorating the last journey of Christ. We can walk, meditate, pray and reflect on this journey with Jesus and deepen our understanding and relationship with our Lord.
The stations will be spread across Monday- Wednesday mornings from 8:15-8:40am.
If you would like to attend, please enter via the school junior playground where a member of SLT will meet you at the middle gate and direct you across the infant playground into the school chapel.
Please be assured that all school intentions are brought forward during times of prayer.
On Tuesday 7th February, it was Safer Internet Day and our Online Safety Warriors led an assembly for the whole school. This year’s theme was ‘Want to Talk About it?’ , so this seemed like a great time to introduce the new Online Safety robot that the Warriors have been busy creating.
He is called OSCAR …

The Online Safety Warriors talked to the whole school about the importance of how to make sure you are safe when you are online and what to do and who to talk to if you are not happy.
Well done Online Safety Warriors!!
Our weekly newsletter is full of lots of important information about what is going on in school. Find our latest newsletter by clicking here.
Whilst you are reading the newsletter, keep an eye out for Mr Sendall, who may be cleverly disguised in amongst the messages.
Every Monday assembly, Mr Sendall will choose a child to share what/where he was in the newsletter that went out the previous Friday. If they are correct they will receive a little prize. Get reading everyone!
