Thank you those parents who were able to attend our workshop.  We have created a voiceover of the presentation for everyone which you can view by clicking here.

You will also find a link to a video which will give you some information about SATs in KS1 and you will be able to download the Teacher Assessment Frameworks for reading, writing and maths.

Thank you as always for your support.

  • Red Nose Day Fri 18 March

    Sat 12 Mar 2022

This year, St Thomas More’s will be once again raising money for Red Nose Day 2022.

On Friday 18th March we would like to support this worthwhile cause and representatives from our School Council will be on the playgrounds in the morning with collection buckets for any spare change that you may be willing to donate too.

Please can children come to school dressed in uniform. They may however wear Red Nose Day merchandise such as red noses or head/deely boppers. These items can be found in Sainsburys, T K Maxx or online and again all funds go to the Red Nose Day appeal.

Your donations can help people live free from poverty, violence and discrimination. Your donations have the power to change lives, so thank you in advance for your support.

We really appreciate your support and hope that you will help us raise lots of money for Red Nose Day.

  • World Book Day 2022 - Thursday 3 March

    Wed 02 Mar 2022

World Book Day – Thursday 3rd March 2022

    A few reminders...

Vouchers - each child will be given a £1 voucher on World Book Day. Children can take these along to participating bookshops and exchange them for a book from the £1 World Book Day range, or as payment towards any book of their choice.

Dress up - All children are invited to dress as a character from a book and bring with them a story that they would like to share. There is no expectation to buy a costume and children do not have to dress up.

‘Share a Book’ Breakfast - (if you have returned the slip or booked into breakfast club) Join us for breakfast from 8am for an opportunity to share a book and enjoy a light breakfast. This year there will also be a book quiz for children to complete whilst they enjoy their book day breakfast.

Big Booky Book Swap - Children are asked to bring in a book that they no longer read and would love to let another person enjoy. We ask that children kindly donate a book that they have loved and any child who has donated a book, will be given the opportunity to come along and select a different book of their choice. Books can be brought in and given to the class teacher from Monday 28th February.

Thank you in advance for your support. This helps to make World Book Day a memorable and exciting day for all.
